Aberdeen baby murder bid case jury retires
The jury in the case of an Aberdeen man accused of attempting to murder a six-week-old baby has retired to consider its verdict.
Raymond McPhee, 24, has denied assaulting a boy he was looking after at a flat in the city in August 2008.
He has maintained that the multiple injuries the child sustained were the result of an accidental fall.
The baby, who cannot be named for legal reasons, now suffers from permanent brain damage.
The trial has been taking place at the High Court in Livingston.
