Man charged after three attacks in Slough

A man has been charged by police after a woman was injured in an attack and two girls were assaulted in Berkshire.

The 22-year-old from Slough is charged with causing grievous bodily harm and three counts of false imprisonment.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at East Berkshire Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Thames Valley Police arrested the man on Thursday morning after incidents in Meadfield Road and Trelawney Avenue in Slough.

A 49-year-old woman was attacked at a property in Meadfield Road. She suffered a cut to her head and was taken to hospital.

A 15-year-old girl was assaulted by a man who tried to drag her into a garden as she walked to school along Trelawney Avenue.

A few minutes later an 11-year-old girl was grabbed in the same road. Both girls managed to run away.
