A1 lorry crash victim identified

A lorry driver killed in a collision on the A1 in the Scottish Borders at the weekend has been identified by police.

Iain Boyle, 38, from Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, died in the crash involving another lorry near Cockburnspath at about 0300 BST on Saturday.

The 50-year-old driver of the other vehicle was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is recovering from multiple injuries.

The A1 was closed for about 10 hours as accident investigations took place.
