Blackpool flat death victim was 'badly beaten'
A post-mortem examination carried out on the body of a Rochdale man discovered at a flat in Blackpool has revealed he had been "badly beaten up".
Police said John Whitham, 48, had been subjected to a vicious attack, where "no weapon was involved".
His body was found at the flat in Central Drive on Friday evening by an ambulance crew.
Three men aged 20, 32 and 36, arrested on suspicion of murder at 2100 BST on Friday, remain in police custody.
They were arrested along with a 16-year-old girl, who was released on bail.
