US gun activists stage 'day of resistance' to tighter controls

Pro-gun campaigners in the United States have been holding what they describe as a "day of resistance", in protest at President Obama's plans to ban assault weapons.

The new focus on gun control follows December's shooting at a Connecticut school in which 20 children and six teachers died.

Ben Wright was at one protest rally in Maryland.
