Kyrgyzstan's PM claims presidential victory

The prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, Almazbek Atambayev, is claiming victory in the first round of presidential polls.

Initial results showed him holding 65% of the vote but the opposition is disputing these early figures.

Sixteen candidates are standing in the election but the current president, Rosa Otunbayeva, is not running.
