NSPCC Wales: Children reported for sex offences

Children as young as 10 are being reported for sexual offences against other children, says the NSPCC.

The charity said with offences involving very young children "we have to question the environment in which they are growing up".

Figures from three of Wales' four police forces show 158 sex offences by children against children were recorded over two years.

Some of the most common crimes are boys offending against girls they know.

Radio Wales presenter Felicity Evans spoke to Des Mannion, head of services for NSPCC Cymru, on the Good Morning Wales programme. He said the figures were "deeply concerning".
