Kunduz bombing: What the US 'mistake' admission tells us

The US commander of international forces in Afghanistan has conceded that the airstrike on a hospital in Kunduz was a mistake.

Twenty-two people were killed including staff from Doctors Without Borders, which ran the hospital.

Gen John Campbell was speaking at a US Senate hearing on American involvement in Afghanistan.
