Wukan, China: Village rebellion after chief 'confession'

The Chinese village of Wukan is in open rebellion, demanding the release of their local Communist Party chief.

Lin Zuluan is facing corruption charges after saying in a televised statement he accepted kickbacks.

But Mr Zuluan's supporters believe the statement was forced, and say the real reason he has been detained is to stop him organising a protest campaign.

Stephen McDonell reports.
