Drivers who kill
The remains of a car ripped in half by a speeding driver have been displayed outside the Houses of Parliament by campaigners who want tougher sentences for drivers who kill while breaking the law.
The 25-year-old driver of the wrecked car was killed when it was hit by a vehicle going at more than 80mph through a red light in a 30mph zone.
The 18-year-old offender was jailed for six years. The dead man's parents say he will still be younger than than their son when he is released.
