World premiere for music composed during the night shift

A security guard who writes music during his break in the night shift will have the world premiere of his composition at Cumnock Tryst.

Composer Sir James MacMillan, who set up the festival to bring international music to his home town, commissioned the score from Michael Murray.

BBC Scotland's arts correspondent Pauline McLean has been to meet them.
