Tourism boost predicted for UK, says VisitBritain
Tourism's contribution to the UK economy could grow by more than 60% by 2020, a VisitBritain report suggests.
The number of jobs directly and indirectly linked to tourism could rise by 264,000 to 2.89 million in that time, the study predicts.
VisitBritain CEO Sandie Dawe said the weak pound was of benefit to UK tourism in the short term but she added that the Olympics would also provide a huge boost.
