China's oil sector sees mixed bag of profits reports
China's oil companies are suffering mixed fortunes.
The country's second biggest producer, Sinopec, is due to unveil first half profits. Analysts are forecasting a sharp slowdown in earnings.
The same goes for its larger rival PetroChina which will report shortly after.
Yet smaller players, such as CNOOC, have managed to more than double earnings.
