Football is an international game - and an even more international business.
From Barcelona to AC Milan to Manchester United, the top teams have supporters around the globe. So if you're one of the best-known teams in the Gulf, how do you become a multi-national brand?
Al Ahli in Dubai thinks it has the answer. They have signed the former captain of the Italian national side and World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro for just over $6m.
