Nissan boss on the Asian motor industry

One of the world's leading industrialists has been speaking to the BBC about the role that the Chinese car industry will play in the future.

Carlos Ghosn, the Chief Executive of Nissan, Asias' second biggest car producer, has told Asia Business Report that China is set to monopolise research and development in the motor industry, at the expense of it's great rival India.

He also said that whilst Japan has already lost its position as the region's top exporter to China - it still holds its own in high-tech goods.
