Yuan rises against the dollar

The Yuan rose against the US dollar on Wednesday. This follow pressure from US politicians who have criticised China for keeping its currency artificially low to help its exporters.

However, a report suggests the undervalued Yuan is not only hurting the US but also Asia.

Jeremy Stretch, markets strategist with the Canadian stock broking firm CIBC, told the BBC he believes the strengthening of the Yuan may be related to next week's G20 summit in South Korea.
