Last day for voluntary redundancy at Japan Airlines
It is the last day for Japan Airlines' pilots and crew to accept voluntary redundancy.
The carrier filed for bankruptcy protection in January and needs to lay-off 16,000 staff by March next year.
It needs to make the savings as part of a $6.7bn bailout by creditors and taxpayers.
Mariko Oi reports.
