GM expected to report full year profit

General Motors is expected to report its first full year profit since 2004.

After years of losses and doubts as to whether it would even survive, the American car giant is making money.

Analysts are forecasting an annual profit of $5.3bn, versus a loss of $4.3bn during the second half of 2009.
