Debbie Manners of Pact: Product placement 'does work'
Debbie Manners from Pact, the Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television, which represents the commercial interests of TV producers, has said evidence shows product placement ''does work''.
A ban on the placements of products has been lifted, allowing advertisers to pay for their goods to be seen on British TV, including soaps and one-off dramas.
Ms Manners added paid-for placements would be ''carefully managed''.
