Hewlett: BSkyB deal is 'status quo plus'
The controversial bid by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation to take over BSkyB has been approved by the government.
Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt had been under pressure to refer the takeover to the Competition Commission.
But he has decided against that course of action after News Corp said it would spin-off Sky News into a seperate company.
Presenter and media consultant, Steve Hewlett, says it is still not certain to happen.
