Federal Reserve expected to leave rates at low levels
America's central bank, the Federal Reserve, is expected to leave rates at exceptionally low levels.
While central bankers in Europe are increasingly concerned about rising inflation, America's top banker Ben Bernanke has been more dismissive.
Policy makers will discuss the risks of rising inflation to the economy and the after-effects of the disaster in Japan.
