Meet Christine Janes, Britain's happiest person

Government researchers will begin questioning people across Britain about how satisfied they are with their lives.

They will be asked a series of questions to rate their happiness on a scale of 0 to 10.

It is hoped the results will provide key information for policymakers and businesses.

The ex-tennis star Christine Janes - formerly Christine Truman - has been judged, using a formula, by a behavourial expert as the happiest person in Britain.

She put her happiness down to family, where you live and having a bit of luck.
