Is the US economic recovery slowing down?

GDP figures for the first three months of the year are published today.

Most economists are expecting growth of around 2%, down sharply from the 3.1% racked up in the last quarter of 2010.

The US Federal Reserve has cut its economic growth forecast for this year, citing weaker growth than expected.
