UK no longer a nation of homeowners says Halifax

The term 'generation rent' is increasingly being used to describe young people who do not own their own home and see no prospect of ever doing so.

A new study shows that two-thirds of adults who do not own a home believe they will never be able to because of the large deposit required.

Halifax questioned 8,000 people between the ages of 20 and 45 for the survey.
