Drop in number of people who pay into pension funds
More than a third of people who are members of a pension scheme have stopped paying into them.
Prudential suggests that 40% of those who have put their contributions on hold also say they will not start again in the future.
Tom McPhail is the head of Pension Research at Hargreaves Lansdown and told Radio 5 live Breakfast what steps people should be taking if they find themselves in a similar situation.
