Advertising watchdog cracks down on broadband speed claims
Broadband companies who say they can provide maximum speed to customers will need to show that at least 10% of customers will actually be able to.
The Committee of Advertising Practice is also issuing guidance on how providers use the words 'unlimited' and 'up to'.
Shariar Coupal is the Director of Advertising Policy at the company and told Radio 5 live Breakfast why the guidance was necessary.
