Global share markets hit by 'toxic cocktail'

Global markets have been hit by a "toxic cocktail" of negative factors, an economist has told the BBC.

Tom Stevenson, of Fidelity Worldwide Investment, said it wasn't just a case of concern about the eurozone debt crisis.

He said other factors that had unnerved investors included signs of slowing economic growth in the developing world, and most specifically China.
