How will the PM's plans affect the housing market?

David Cameron has set out a proposal to offer greater discounts to council tenants who want to buy their home.

Speaking to Andrew Marr on Sunday he also put forward a policy to release thousands of acres of publicly owned brown-field land to developers who would only pay for the land once the houses or flats have been sold.

Richard Donnell, the Director of research at Hometrack, told Radio 5 live Wake Up To Money how the plans will affect the housing market.
