Last analogue TV will be switched off in October 2012
The analogue television broadcasting system will be turned off on the 24 October 2012.
So far two thirds of the UK have changed to digital TV and people who do not subscribe to satellite or cable services have had to buy new televisions or set-up boxes to continue watching programmes.
Northern Ireland will be the last region to make the switch.
Teresa Wise, an independent media analyst, told Radio 5 live Morning Reports about the process.
