Eurozone crisis sapping UK business confidence, says CBI
The organisation representing British businesses, the CBI, has revised down its growth forecast for the UK.
It says it expects the economy to grow by 0.9% this year, far less than its previous estimate of 1.3%. The CBI also says unemployment will peak at 2.7 million.
Dr Neil Bentley, deputy director-general of the CBI, said the eurozone crisis was "sapping business confidence" in the UK.
