Top tips for new start-ups

David Cameron has spent the last few weeks trying to encourage British businesses to grow.

He challenged them to match the export activity of their counterparts in the rest of Europe, saying the extra activity could raise £30bn and so wipe out the trade deficit. He also promised grants of £95m to those businesses which invest.

But how can a small company grow, in this financial climate? Exhibitors at the Business Start-up fair at London's Earl's Court gave the BBC their top tips.
