Changing bill structure does not help, says consumer
British Gas has promised to simplify its energy tariffs and provide a more transparent billing system.
It comes after the company admitted it had lost the trust of its customers.
Fiona Leslie, a British Gas customer from Newcastle Upon Tyne, told Radio 5 live that the announcement did nothing to help those who use prepayment meters, adding that the choice is still between heating or eating.
