Hong Kong keeps IPO crown in 2011
The Hong Kong stock exchange retained its status during 2011 as the global bourse that attracted the most fresh capital, beating New York and London for the third year in a row.
According to data providers Dealogic, companies raised twice the amount of money from initial public offerings (IPOs) in China and Hong Kong than in the United States.
The BBC's Andrew Wood in Hong Kong says that trend could continue into 2012.
