How I relocated my children to the UK

Every year, international firms send thousands of their staff to work in the UK and often, they bring their families with them.

Many of these new arrivals say their greatest issue is in finding schools for their children.

The rules do not allow you to apply for a place at state school from abroad. That means many parents are forced to go private.

Jen Holzberger, Paulie Gould and Beth Severino are all Americans who moved to Britain within the past year and who send their children to the same private international school in Surrey. They describe their experiences in searching for school places in Britain.
