Peacocks in administration is 'disappointing news'
The clothing chain, Peacocks, has gone into administration, putting around 9,600 jobs at risk.
All of the company's 611 stores and 49 concessions across the UK are to remain open for now as efforts are made to try to find a buyer.
No redundancies have been made but it is the biggest retail collapse since Woolworths in 2008.
The Employment minister, Chris Grayling, told BBC Radio Wales it is disappointing news and hopes the business will survive.
