Heineken boss on profits and the eurozone

Europe's largest brewing firm, Heineken, has reported a profit of nearly 1.6 billion euros.

The company, which has a presence in all the problematic parts of the eurozone - including Greece - is looking to emerging markets for growth.

Heineken has also launched a cost-cutting programme to save it 500 million euros over the next three years.

Jean-Francois van Boxmeer is the chief executive and he told the BBC that ''with the exception of Greece our European business is healthy''.
