The world's biggest advertising group has reported a rise in profit.
WPP earned $1.6bn in 2011 and 30% of its revenues are now from digital media such as banner ads and sponsored search results such as those offered by Google.
The company said the new set-up would enable it to tailor search results better.
Sir Martin Sorrell, chief executive of WPP told the BBC that the changes should be fine as long as they remain "transparent".
