Center Parcs to create over 2000 jobs
Holiday firm Center Parcs has confirmed it will press ahead with plans to build its fifth UK resort in a move set to create 2,700 jobs.
The UK's four biggest banks HSBC, Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds agreed to a £150 million construction loan.
The rest of the money being stumped up by the group's private equity owner Blackstone following a £1 billion refinancing.
Martin Dalby is the chief executive of Center Parcs and he told the BBC "a lot of of these jobs will be for younger people".
He also said he supports the government's controversial work programme scheme.
