Japan tsunami: Inside recovering sake factory
Brewing sake is a long process, and one brought to a sudden halt in the Kakuboshi factory a year ago when the tsunami hit the city of Kesennuma below.
Fifth-generation sake maker Kaichiro Saito managed to restart production at the 100-year-old factory within a month.
The first specially-made batch sold out immediately, and demand is as strong as ever as orders come in from the cities as well as the local area.
Mariko Oi joined Kaichiro Saito for a tour of the factory.
