Letters explaining the changes to the benefits system have been sent out to those receiving benefits.
The Department for Work and Pensions is introducing a cap of £26,000 on total household benefits as part of the government plan to cut billions of pounds off the welfare budget.
One of the main incentives of the reform is for people on benefits to find work.
