Marks and Spencer reports drop in non-food sales
Marks and Spencer has reported its worst sales in clothing and general merchandise for more than three years.
Sales of food rose slightly over the three months from April to June but sales of clothes and other goods fell by 6.8 per cent and is being blamed on continuing stock supply issues along with poor weather conditions.
The company has also announced that the head of general merchandise, Kate Bostock, is leaving, as Emma Simpson reports.
