Customers get Ulster Bank compensation scheme details

The Ulster Bank, which is part of the RBS group, has announced details of a compensation scheme for those affected by a major computer failure over the summer.

It will reimburse all of what it terms "reasonable out-of-pocket expenses" resulting from the disruption which affected thousands of customers.

It is thought the maximum compensation will be around £100, which has drawn criticism from some, as Andy Martin reports.
