ABI welcome OFT pension scheme inquiry

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has welcomed an enquiry from the Office of Fair Trading into pension schemes.

Workers will be automatically enrolled in defined-contribution schemes over the next five years.

Director of Life and Savings at the ABI Stephen Gay told BBC News that customers needed to be reassured that saving in a pension was money well spent.
