Italy's historic Siena bank MPS asks for another bailout
The world's oldest bank, Italy's Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, has asked for a taxpayer funded bailout after making severe losses.
Without the money the 540-year-old bank may not survive the year.
The lender lost millions of euros in a controversial takeover deal and through risky trades.
