HTC expected to announce 90% fall in profits
The battle to stay ahead in the crowded mobile phone market is a tough one. Many once-mighty companies like Nokia and Motorola have fallen victim to the sheer power of Apple and Samsung.
Now it seems Taiwanese phone maker HTC is to endure a similar fate. Just two years ago it was the second most popular smartphone seller in the US, but it has seen its profits and sales plummet since.
HTC are expected on Monday to announce profits fell 90% in the final months of 2012.
