A US federal judge has ordered tobacco firms to pay for an advertising campaign to explain the dangers of smoking.

A US federal judge has ordered tobacco firms to pay for an advertising campaign to explain the dangers of smoking.

The judge has also instructed the adverts to include an admission that the companies lied about the harm that smoking can cause.
