UK avoids triple-dip recession with GDP growth of 0.3%
The UK economy has avoided a triple-dip recession according to preliminary results showing 0.3% growth in the first three months of the year.
Chancellor George Osborne said it was an "encouraging sign", but Labour's Ed Balls said the economy is "just back to where it was six months ago".
