Unison: Office workers treated as 'human battery hens'
Unison has said that workers in crowded offices are being treated like "human battery hens."
The workers union suggests call centre staff face the toughest pressure at work, being monitored every time they leave their desk - even when going to the toilet.
Karen Jennings is the Assistant General Secretary for Unison.
She told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "It's the invasive way that people are treated - the dehumanisation, the lack of understanding. There's no need for... companies to behave this way."
