How to combat high energy prices?

Ahead of the chancellor's Autumn statement, many people are having to make tough decisions about how to spend their own money - what do they want to hear?

Following the most recent round of energy price rises the government announced measures to limit rises in fuel bills.

Elaine Brunskill told the BBC of her anger at having to wear extra jumpers and using hot water bottles just to keep warm while energy companies continue to make money.

Meanwhile National Energy Action's Maria Wardrobe said one of the most important improvements would be higher national energy efficiency standards.
