Fortnum and Mason 're-engaging' with local customers
Retailer Fortnum and Mason has announced its sales figures for the Christmas period, with more hampers being sold than at any point in its 300-year history.
Chief executive Ewan Venters told the Today programme's Simon Jack that people are "putting their trust in the premium sector".
He explained that the brand is "re-engaging" with local customers and that 60% of its shoppers come from the UK.
